FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

Typically, you will receive 80-100 photos per hour that I spend with you. Example : If I spend 6 hours with you on your wedding day, you are promised a 600 photo return at the least.

What should I expect from my shoot?

I have a lot of fun getting to know and photograph people. My goal is to transfer that attitude to my clients- I want you and your family to walk away loving your experience.
I like to get to know everyone briefly before your shoot whether it be by text or by phone - Learn everyone's names and learn about what the kids like to do & how they behave in front of a camera. Some children love the camera, some wants nothing to do with me, all of this is helpful to the both of us so we can all have fun.

How should we dress for our family session?

Muted colors. Skip the tiny prints, they don't show up on the photo. Try to only have patterned outfits for every other two people in a family shoot. Decide on a color scheme and stick to it! Don't go for one color for everyone, choose a couple colors that are in harmony! Use accessories! Cool hats, flowers in your hair, jewelry, jackets, etc. All of these items with bring out you or your little ones personalities on top of your outfits!

What location should we choose?

As I work with clients in many different destinations, please message me for a list of locations in your area. I generally like to stick to locations that provide a natural shooting environment, such as a local state park or other outdoor areas. However, if you have a location in mind - we can chat about including it in your shoot.

What time is the best time to shoot?

We generally begin shooting during the golden hour period that occurs on to two hours before sunset.
Sunrise shoots are available - however, keep in mind that it can be harder to coordinate hair and makeup for a sunrise session.
